The Grayslake Heritage Center & Museum is pleased to announce the winners of the Second Annual Grayslake Giving Trees display. The Grayslake Area Chamber of Commerce & Industry won the People's Choice Award for the second year in a row. Additional awards included: The Spirit Award, which went to St. Gilbert Catholic School; Most Creative, which went to the Grayslake Farmers Market; Best Illustration of Mission, which went to Twice as Nice Mother and Child; and Best of Show, which went to Carillon North. All of the entries were superb this year and we are truly blessed to live in a community with so many organizations dedicated to serving the public good.
