Outreach Programs

Bring the Grayslake Heritage Center & Museum to your school, community organization or your next meeting by booking one of our outreach programs. The museum currently offers the following programs on the road:

  • The Brothers' War is a 45 minute program examining the lives of 50 Grayslake area veterans of the Civil War through story and song. It includes first-hand accounts of their engagements, plus rare images.
  • In addition, museum staff are pleased to deliver lectures about ongoing and future initiatives at the Grayslake Heritage Center & Museum. Contact Michelle Poe at 847-543-1745 or email Michelle Poe  to book your program.

The Grayslake Historical Society provides a number of outreach programs as well, from a traveling trunk of hands-on artifacts to themed lectures. For more information, call 847-223-7663 or e-mail us .
