Village Center
Grayslake's Village Center is located in the heart of the Village. It includes the historic downtown
with its antique lighting, historic storefronts with varying architectural
styles, and small businesses with a customer friendly atmosphere. Also in
the Village
Center are many recreational facilities including the municipally owned Esper
A. Petersen Foundation Family Aquatic Center and Daniel Barry Memorial
Skate Park, the Grayslake Public Library, the Grayslake
Middle School, Grayslake High School, Grayslake Senior Center and Grayslake Park District’s 40- acre Central
Park,
which includes a large playground area and several baseball diamonds, competition
football and soccer fields, and walking trails with preserved woodlands.
